YOUR FINAL PREMIERSHIP TABLE 15-4-08
Louis Spence

With just four games to go in the Premiership this season, here's your chance to see how good a soccer expert you are. Log on to the BBC Football site and go to the Premiership section. On the left panel, you will see a section marked "Predictor".
Click on this and all of the remaining fixtures will appear. Now, without thinking too hard, just put in the scores you think will happen then click on the button at the bottom for your final Premiership table of 2008.
I promise you it's fun and will take no longer than five minutes of your time.
From our brilliant messageboard, different people have come up with different results. However, the one unifying factor is that Bolton and Fulham will be accompanying the pitiful Derby crew back to the Championship. So much for the MotD experts trying to drum up interest in what still looks like a foregone conclusion.
In my first report at the start of the season, I stated that Manchester United would once again win the League. Their strength in depth and the mental capacity to win ugly when needed has ensured their ranking as bookies favourites virtually throughout.
I also forecast that Chelsea would finish as runners-up, although none of us were to know that Mr. Mourinho would be jumping ship at that stage. Avram Grant has done a terrific job in keeping them in contention, despite the disloyal faction of 'fans' who loudly informed him of his deficiencies when the going got a bit rough for half an hour.
Third place was always destined for an Arsenal side lacking in top quality replacements for their superb starting line-up. I feel sure that a chastened Arsene Wenger will have identified the need to bolster his faltering side who have enthralled us all with scintillating soccer only to fall away with some panicky defending and some unfortunate refereeing decisions.
Liverpool really have to get a different mindset for next year. As the only one of the "Big Four" yet to win the Premiership sixteen years in, I feel that more focus has to be given to this target. I also feel that Rafa's obsession in constant tinkering has been counter-productive. Some stability regards ownership would also not go amiss.
The fight for accession to the Premiership remains fascinating, with five clubs still battling away in a see-saw scrap for the top two places. There are also six clubs who are outside the current play-off spots with a chance of finishing in the top six. Whether any of the Championship contenders can cement a place in the top flight remains a major bone of contention though.
Right then, whether or not you followed my advice and played the "Predictor", here is a brilliant bonus. At the end of my column we have a bet for you that is guaranteed to make you some readies.
